Good evening all Princess Anne Gardens residents, this is a reminder about the short notice water shutoff happening on Tuesday October 6th. There were 2 automated emails that went out on Thursday and Friday regarding the unexpected water shutoff work that needed to be completed quickly.
Originally scheduled for Monday, October 5th, it was rescheduled due to weather for Tuesday, October 6th. The shutoff will run from approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Please see below for the content of the notice:
Please accept our apologies for the short notice. During the plumbing repairs completed this week, issues were identified with the external water shut-off valves serving Buildings 10 and 16. As a result, additional work is needed to replace these valves.
To complete this necessary work, water service will be shut off to the entire Princess Anne Gardens community on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. Water service is expected to be restored by approximately 5:00 p.m. the same day.
Residents of Buildings 10 and 16 are highly encouraged to take advantage of this scheduled community-wide water shut-off to have the gate shut-off valves within their individual units replace
If you use your unit as a rental property, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to notify your tenants of the upcoming community-wide water shut-off so they can plan accordingly.
We understand that the short notice may be inconvenient and sincerely apologize for not being able to provide more advance notice. We appreciate everyone’s understanding, patience, and cooperation as we address these issues and continue working to improve the infrastructure of the community.
Please notify UPA if you have any lingering issues with your water after the work is completed and water is restored to the community.
